Easy Protein Cornbread

Make your own delicious single-serving of cornbread in under five minutes. Pair up with your homecooked chili or drizzled with coconut nectar. This savory bread may skip the dairy, sugar, eggs and gluten‰ – but not the taste!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoon ground corn meal
  • 1 tablespoon Nuzest Just Natural Clean Lean Protein
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup warm water

Method

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl. Add water and mix.
  2. Coat a glass custard cup with coconut oil. Add batter. Microwave for two minutes.
  3. Take the edge of a knife and run it around the side of the cup. Invert cake onto a plate and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
