D’Bomb Protein Donuts

You no longer have to sneak to your local donut shop to fulfill your craving for a sweet, round donut with these D‰a-Bomb Protein Donuts. These perfectly baked beauties will satisfy your ring-shaped cake desires while also being dunk-worthy! For a fun add in, throw in a half-cup of cacao nibs to the batter‰ – the result is over the top!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Nuzest Smooth Vanilla Clean Lean Protein
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 4 tablespoons flax (soaked for 5 minutes with ⅓ cup water)
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons coconut nectar
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until combined.  
  3. Transfer dough to a gallon sized ziplock bag. Cut the bottom corner and pipe into a well oiled silicone donut mold.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Eat as is or add toppings as desired. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 days.
