Vegan Fruit Roll Ups

Over the years, I have seen many recipes for homemade fruit roll ups. I sheepishly admit, I have never tried it for myself because of the investment of a 2-3 hour baking time. It seemed too complicated… too much of a kitchen commitment. Well, this week after preparing lunches for my family, I decided it was time to take the plunge. So, today, in the quiet of the morning, I whipped up a batch (literally took a minute) and let it gloriously bake while the rest of the household gradually arose from slumber. Not only did my family wake to the scent of baked apples, but these fruit rolls proved the old adage, ”Good things come to those who wait!”

  • 1 cup organic applesauce
  • 1 scoop Smooth Vanilla Nuzest Clean Lean Protein
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix on high until well combined.
  3. Thinly spread contents on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 2 hours.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool. Peel from parchment and use kitchen shears to cut into rectangles (or any shape you desire!).
