Q. How do you make healthy choices and avoid temptations when it comes to your nutrition?
A. It is much easier to make healthy choices and balance your nutrition when you are kind to yourself. I like to think of my nutrition as a way to be kind to my body, and to nourish it with what it needs to be its best. There should be no punishing, restricting, or abusing these amazing bodies we have working so hard for us every day. Instead, think of what you can do to help fuel yourself best, help recover best, and help fill it with the nutrients it needs. When you do that, the cravings go away and you start to crave the wellness you’ve been building up inside of you.

When the sun is shining, you can always find me playing beach volleyball, spikeball, or tossing a football around at the beach.

Q. What is your favorite form of exercise?
A. Spin class!

Q. Aside from being a volleyball superstar, what do you do for fun?
A. Go to the beach. I’m always at the beach.
