The people and the story behind Nuzest, nutrition for life
Our story began in 2005 when my 23-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis – an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system for which modern medicine is yet to find a cure.
Not satisfied with the bleak prognosis we were given, we looked to experts all over the world for advice – from neurologists and scientists, to naturopaths and everyone in between.
The knowledge and insight we gained over those years was life changing. It resulted in careers in the health industry for both of us and planted the seeds for what is now Nuzest – Nutrition for Life.
In our travels, we were introduced to Dr Robert Verkerk PhD, founder and director of The Alliance for Natural Health International (ANH-Intl); and his business partner, psychoneuroimmunologist and functional medicine practitioner, Meleni Aldridge.
We connected them with top naturopaths Cliff Harvey (New Zealand practitioner, author and lecturer) and Kira Sutherland (head of Nutritional Medicine at Australia’s Nature Care College).
Together with this team of global industry leaders, we have developed Nuzest – a nutritional platform based on efficacy without compromise; bringing together the best of nutritional science and natural medicine.
Our unique formulas are some of the most advanced nutritional supplements on the market – every ingredient, and every form of ingredient, is backed by a sound scientific rationale. Our formulas are regularly reviewed and improved upon to ensure Nuzest products are always aligned with the most up to date research and information.
So welcome to Nuzest – and a new approach to feeling great.
At Nuzest, we believe in making good nutrition easy for everyone. We only use top quality, responsibly-sourced ingredients. In fact, we like to think that we make the kind of choices you’d make for yourself.
Knowledge about human nutrition is constantly evolving, so coming up with an effective formulation once and letting it run just isn’t good enough. We challenge ourselves to continually improve our supplements so that we produce outstanding nutritional products – time after time.
We like to keep things real, so our products are based on real foods that are rich in nutrients and essential vitamins and minerals. Once sourced, these ingredients are carefully handled to retain all of their goodness. You can relax knowing that every batch of Clean Lean Protein, Quick Vita Kick, Good Green Snack bars and Just Fruit & Veg is independently tested before it gets to you.
Our very first media mention was when Australia's Madison Magazine picked up on NuZest's Good Green Stuff!
